Labor Day Weekend

Wednesday, August 30, 2017 –

Thinking about it; three of our four kids are self-employed. Kurt 36 is the only one with a real job.  He got his degree in accounting, and works for the State of Jefferson, I mean California.  His wife Laura works at “Child Protective Services” for the State, however just got a new job at Folsom Prison.

Veronica and her husband Brandon have several pokers in the fire, including the ice cream business “Smoosh”, with two locations.  Brandon has a business related talk show on Saturdays on a local radio station in Sacramento.

Monique and her boyfriend of ten years are in the house and commercial painting business.  Lauren is into relating astrology with business cycles, and is an adviser and tax preparer.

All of them are doing fine.

The gravel arrived.  Mike with his ATV, and Jeff with his tractor to spread the gravel.  They did a great job!  Thank you gentlemen.

These guys are the greatest of neighbors.  We’re so fortunate for all of our neighbors here in Volcano.

Pictures will follow.  We got caught in an episode that put us back in the hospital.

Thursday, August 31, 2017 –

Back in the hospital with pneumonia and blood infection. I’ll write when something better happens.

This is our second holiday in a row to be spent with the great staff at Mather VA Hospital.  We were here over the 4th of July holiday.

Thank you all for your well wishes, and thank you for reading our story.

We are grateful for our family and friends like you!

With love, we remain above ground….  Ron w/Patty

  1. Hi Ron n Patty.
Love n hugs to you both and Ron – for goodness sake stay upright. Teetering over off stairs never has a good outcome.

I’m happy you can be proud of your children. Certainly something to be proud of.

Always thinking of you both and I’m loving your updates.

Please get better So you can enjoy the mountain soon.
