Today, Patty gets a little longer in the tooth. I can’t express my inner most love for her, there are no words for it. I’m so blessed to have such a great partner. Happy happy happy birthday Patty.
If you recall we found a great restaurant in Vacaville while staying at Travis the end of June. We’ll go back there one night this week for Patty’s birthday dinner. Today we’ll go to the St. George Hotel in Volcano for lunch. (We have no food here).
Patty’s made a large pot of spaghetti sauce to simmer all day. We’ll take it back with us to share with the other residents at the Fisher House. We’ll leave tomorrow sometime, and we’ll be there for another three-weeks, as we’ve opt’d to have preventative brain radiation. This is to reduce the chances of the cancer spreading to the brain as it will 60% of the time. Radiation in advance of that occurrence reduces that to 30% chance.
Besides, brain radiation only intensifies those idiosyncrasies I seem to have anyway? Such as loss of memory, difficulty with simple arithmetic, tasks, etc. Thank goodness for spell check and calculators! With these aids, all should appear as normal?
